Les Charlots

In the 1960s, the musical group "Les Charlots" was born in France and first became known for their songs and then for their films, which had a curious comic style full of continuous jokes.

One of the most famous films was "Le Grand Bazar", which was promoted in a beautiful Porsche 911 in the 1973 Tour de Corse, characterized by including the caricatures of Les Charlots on the sides of the car, as well as the name of the movie in big blue letters.

This curious and striking vehicle has caught the attention of the guys at Decalcas who have just announced to us that the livery will be available shortly, to be used on the Porsche 911 RS by Fujimi. It's always good to put a little humor in your models, right?

In the early years of the Paris Dakar rally, only a handful of brave and crazy people accepted the challenge of running the toughest endurance rally in the world. In the 1984 edition, an impressive MAN machine, sponsored by Rothmans, gave support to the Porsche 911 Carrera 4x4 (953) that would win the Dakar. A few years have passed since that time and the imposing appearance of the all-wheel drive super truck with its eight enormous wheels still leaves us speechless.

Well now comes the good stuff: DAB Models announces the release in 1/43 scale of the model of this beautiful truck. This product is made with 3D printing equipment and is designed for advanced modelers looking to go further with their scale models. They include the decals with the Dakar numbers for years 1984 and 1985, and once assembled it measures almost 24 cm long!!
