It's finally here!

The long awaited Marc's bike is finally in our warehouse, so today we will be very busy sending aaaaaall packages for all of you who already bought one

In addition, there are some delicious news for this kit that will be the perfect icing for this gorgeous bike cake

Decalcas have just released the winshield and anti-slip tank side pads, waaaaaaaaaaay thinner that the original transparent parts of the kit, hence way more realistic.

Death fight

They are both European car icons, and they both have very clever low cost designs as well as very innovative at their time. The 4L with its big trunk door and the new sealed cooling system, competing against the 2CV with its 2 cylinder air cooled flat engine and 4 wheels symmetric shock absorbing system.

Years later, the duel is still alive, since both models live together at SpotModel warehouse in their scale model forms, by the hands of Ebbro.

And believe us, we have to keep them separately stored, because if we don't they "get hot" XDDDD.

There is no more room here!

Thanks to you all, SpotModel doesn't stop growing and there is no more room in our warehouse, not even for one more decal sheet...

So next May 23rd, 24th and 25th all our warehouse staff will be enlarging it and reorganizing all our current stock, and they won't be able to package your shipments.

However, our website will still be fully operative, and so will our customer service. You will be able to place your orders as usual, only that you'll have to take into account that they won't be shipped until May 26th.

Gran Turismo Omologato

An intriguing Italian phrase hides in the name of one of the most iconic sport cars of the 80s, the Ferrari 288 GTO. A gorgeous machine with 2800cc inside his V8 engine and hyper aggressive lines for that time.

The bittersweet taste of racing

Last weekend took place the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans: history, stories, legends... emotions with a smell of fuel. And this year, another chapter was written in its incredible history that will surely be well remembered due to the heartbreaking defeat of Toyota and the unexpected victory for Porsche.

After a perfect race and cruising in first position, the TS050 suffered a technical problem that left them stranded right in front of the podium just before the last lap

Details

Many modelers wish to achieve such a perfection level that their scale models look like real life miniature vehicles, when everyone looking at them have to rub their eyes and doubt if they have just heard the engine whispering... A fair amount of that magic is achieved through the details. Tubes, wires, rivets, carbon fiber decals... and little by little, and with an insane amount of work, the miracle is finally done ;D

The lads at Komakai certainly know what we love and surprised us with their new issue showing all details about the McLaren F1 GTR Short Tail, although it is also perfect for gaining some inspiration in our builds.

Overcoming obstacles

The Ferrari 126CK came to this world in the early 80s for replacing the glorious (although a bit overdue) Ferrari 312T that was racing since 1975. The chassis was almost the same, but its V6 engine was much smaller, its aerodinamics were vastly improved, and everything was more compact, becoming a machine that was difficult to tame but, once that obstacle was overcome, it brought enormous glories to the team.

Relax...

Here comes the frightful month of August... If you've ever been at the south of Spain during these dates, you'll know why is there the "frightful" adjective. It's hot, reaaaaaally hot, paint dries IN the airbrush, decals are just impossible to place unbroken, and all because this climate invites only to one thing: relax. The caribean spirit embodies everybody, and everything gets slowed down

So, during the next August we will run away from the heat as much as possible... What does that mean? That our website will keep on working, you will be able to place orders and ask everything you need via chat or email, but shipments will only be made on certain days, grouping them in batches that will be sent during this month.

We wanted to notify you in advance so that, if you realize that you need something urgently, you could take advantage of the last days of July, and so you take it into account for your orders next month.

Just do like SpotModel staff: don't get stressed, lay back and relaaaax... ;D

Yes, finally the whole SpotModel staff have suffered the long awaited and thrilling "return to the classroom". And, after going through the initial shock, here we are one hundred percent to keep giving you our very best
